Michael Qaqish

God called Michael back home on May 2, 2021 at the age of 73. He will always be remembered by his siblings Yasmin, Elias, Jubrial, Farid, Basma, and Ikhlas. He is now reunited in Heaven with his parents, Issa and Farideh, and siblings, Khalil, Hanna, Helen, and Halla. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Scheduled visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Thursday May 6, 2021 from 11-12 p.m. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, a private chapel service and interment service will follow with immediate family members only. If so desired, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Richmond Hill, Ontario on behalf of the Qaqish family. Now that York Region has moved to a “Lockdown Zone”, public visitations will allow a maximum of 10 people in attendance per visitation room. All attendees must be scheduled by appointment only. We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering. As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Qaqish Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
