Alexander Kotsidis

With great sorrow and grief, we announce that Alex "Babe" Kotsidis of Suffern, NY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong Rockland County resident and true Renaissance man, Alex was a pillar of strength, support and reason to all that knew him. He was also a quintessential family man, and any favorite activity or hobby (of which he had many), was one that he could share with those he loved. Alex is survived by Marion Ellis, his partner of 36 years, their children Nick and Natalie, his sister Lucy Kotsidis Berard, and his best friend of 65 years, Mal Ross. A wake will be held at Scarr Funeral Home, 160 Orange Avenue, Suffern, NY, on Thursday, April 29 from 4pm to 8pm. Where services will be held 10AM on Friday, April 30th Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake , NY
