Priscilla L. Pierce Obituary

Priscilla L. Pierce, 99, formerly of Madison and Branford, passed away November 25, 2015 at Apple Rehab in Guilford. She was born November 17, 1916 in Newburyport, MA, daughter of the late Charles and Metha Linderson. Priscilla served in the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant, WAC, during World War II. Priscilla is survived by her daughter Janet Cullen of Branford; grandsons Paul McDevitt of Charlotte, NC, and Daniel Shaw of Glen Ridge, NJ; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a special nephew, Chris Linderson of Fishers, IN. Priscilla was predeceased by her daughter Sally J. Shaw, grandson Matthew O. Shaw, her fraternal twin, Charles J. Linderson, Jr., her brother Alfred Linderson, her sister Alice Kelly, and her son-in-law, John Cullen. Her daughter would like to express her sincere and heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Apple Rehab in Guilford, for their loving care to her mother through all the years and for their kindness and support to her daughter. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Thursday December 3, at 10:00 am in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.
