Frederick T. Westerkam, 65, of Tabernacle passed away peacefully on Monday April 19, 2021 at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong Tabernacle resident. Fred retired from Acme Markets after more than 40 years of service. Fred loved working on his trucks, riding his motorcycles, and working in the yard or his garage. He had a big heart for just about any kind of stray animal, rescuing many. Fred is survived by his wife, Diane (Nee Sidorski) Westerkam,; his stepchildren Daniella LeFew and Joshua LeFew. He also leaves behind his best friends Laura Milliron, Herb Conaway and Thomas Mosca, as well many other friends. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday May 2, 2021 at the Dennison Funeral Home, 41 Main Street, Southampton. Visitation is from 2:00 p.m until the time of the service. Masks and social distancing required. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in in Fred’s name may be sent to Cedar Run Refuge, 4 Saw Mill Road, Medford, NJ 08055.
