Abel Rodrigues Ferreira, 85, of Providence, passed away April 6, 2021. Born March 29, 1936, in Providence, he was a son of the late Jose and Maria (DaFonseca) Ferreira. Abel was the brother of Salvador Ferreira and his wife Vas of Milford, MA, the late Antonio Ferreira Sr. who passed away April 8, 2021, and the late Rose Whitaker who passed away April 13, 2021. He leaves three nieces, Claudia Iacobbo, MaryJo Macksoud and Rosemary Koretsky; and 2 nephews, Antonio Ferreira Jr. and Leonard Whitaker. Services with burial at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery were private.
