Charles Edward Ratliff Sarepta, LA Funeral services for Mr. Charles Edward Ratliff, age 75, will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA with Bro. Todd Pickard officiating. Interment will follow in Union Springs Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, April 23, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Springhill. Mr. Ratliff was born on February 18, 1946 to Samuel Henry and Delilah Elizabeth Moore Ratliff in Sarepta, LA and passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 in Taylor, AR. He is survived by three brothers, Ruben Ratliff of Sarepta, LA, Joe Ratliff of Piscataway, N.J., and William Ratliff of Wallington, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Ratliff was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leonard Ratliff, Robert Ratliff, and James Howard Ratliff. Pallbearers will be Robby Mason, Bryan Parker, Rodney Coffman, Devin Ratliff, Ray Ratliff, and B.J. Randell. Edward was always so kind. I was married to Steve Duck, one of Edward's closest friends. I remember when my daughter Dana was little, he would give her a dollar every time he saw her. He was the sweetest man ever. I really hate to see this. Edward will truly be missed.
