<p>Roscoe Cross, 89, of Hoopeston, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, in Danville.</p> <p>Roscoe was born on October 19, 1931, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky, the son of William Thomas and Lola Mae (Pointer) Cross. </p> <p>He is survived by his significant other- Barbara Peercy of Hoopeston.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents.</p> <p>Roscoe worked as a farmer and at Joan of Arc, for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing.</p> <p>Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be held at a later date at Floral Hill Cemetery. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Roscoe’s life.
