Born and raised Alaskan, Thomas “Buzz” Glazier, has passed away at the age of 78 at home in Chugiak, AK on April 18th, 2021. Buzz was born to parents Thomas Glazier and Kouey Atwater Glazier in Fairbanks, AK on February 9th, 1943. At the age of 21, he married the love of his life, Mary Abbie Glazier in Los Angeles, CA on February 15th, 1964. Visitation will be held @ 2PM with a service held in his memory to follow @ 3PM, April 22nd, 2021 at Unite Church 2626 Abbott Road, Anchorage, AK 99507,and officiated by James Strutz. Pallbearers will be: Eric Hoffman, TJ Hoffman, Joey Selby, Duane Anderson, Howard Fixx, and Dale Bennett. He will be laid to rest at Glazier Family Cemetery in Northway, AK. Buzz is survived by his wife Mary Abbie Glazier, son Thomas Glazier Jr., daughter Kathleen Hoffman (Eric), brother Anthony Glazier (Verna), sisters Jane Fixx (Howard), Dolly Glazier, Dorthy Collard (Jim), Mary Jane Vanderpool (Jimmy), Theresa Anderson (Duane), and Emma Hildebrand, grandsons Tyler “TJ” Hoffman and John Hoffman, granddaughter Nicole Bennett, great grandsons D.Riley Moma, Linden Moma, and Hatcher Bennett, great granddaughters Taylor Hoffman, Tori Moma, and Katie Hoffman. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Glazier and Kouey Atwater Glazier, son David Tyler Glazier, brothers Timmy Glazier and Donald Glazier.
