<p><strong>Claire, E. Cano</strong>, 77, passed away Apr. 17, 2021. <strong>Claire</strong> was born in Chicago, Illinois on Apr. 26, 1943 and lived in the Barberton area since 1992. She was a LPN, a career which she loved and was dedicated to most of her life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and socializing.</p> <p><strong>Claire</strong> was preceded in death by her husband, <strong>Candido</strong>; son, <strong>Mark</strong>; brother, <strong>Wilson (Bud) Foster</strong>; and sisters, <strong>Rae</strong> and<strong> Louise Foster</strong>. She is survived by her daughters, <strong>Sarah (Tim) Smith</strong>, <strong>Karen (Todd) Gravius</strong>, and <strong>Christina (Joe) Dalton</strong>; grandchildren, <strong>Kyle (Amanda) Cano</strong>, <strong>Taylor (Tom) Leonard</strong>, <strong>Mateya (Cory) Romain</strong>, <strong>Amanda (Aaron) </strong>and <strong>Christian Gravius</strong>, <strong>Haley</strong> and <strong>Makenna Dalton</strong> and <strong>Dakota</strong> and <strong>Noah Smith</strong>; great-grandchildren, <strong>Jayce</strong>, <strong>Lucas</strong>, <strong>Henley</strong>, <strong>Kylie</strong>, <strong>Ariya</strong>, <strong>Cove </strong>and <strong>Caynan</strong>; sister, <strong>Marsha Chase </strong>and <strong>Eleanor Frechette</strong>; and many more loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.</p> <p><strong>Claire’s</strong> family would like to extend a special thanks to Chapel Hill Nursing facility and Cross Roads Hospice for their excellent care and loving compassion.</p> <p>Memorial service will be Thursday, 2:00 pm at Community Church of Portage Lakes, 3260 Cormany Rd., Coventry Township, OH 44319. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church. <strong>Claire’s</strong> final resting place will be Manchester Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. at act.alz.org/donate.</p> <p>Due to Covid-19, we request that those attending the Memorial Service, please practice social distancing and wear face masks.
