Irene Hicks

On Friday, April 16, 2021 Irene Mary Hicks age 72 years, passed away after her battle with cancer at the Bonavista Hospital. Irene fought a good fight but the Lord was calling her home to rest. She is predeceased by parents Eli and Violet, brother Donald and sister Bernice. Everyone loved Irene! Her kindness, empathy and her loving spirit made each person she met feel special. Left to mourn with a lifetime of memories are husband of 49 years Charlie, daughter Connie, son-in-law Ross, son Dion, daughter-in-law Dana, grandson Adam, granddaughter-in-law Jessie and great granddaughter Jackie Her nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends will deeply miss Irene's presence in their lives. Resting at Strathie's Funeral Home in Bonavista with visitation on Tuesday, April 20 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, April 21 at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Citadel in Bonavista.
