Nathan Scott Allen, 39, of Palmyra, passed away at 6:22 pm Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO. Friends and Family are invited to Nathan's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday April 22, 2021at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday April 22, 2021 at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO. Pastor Jake Gottman will officiate. Burial will be at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Bethel, MO. Nathan was born August 13, 1981, in Quincy, IL to Wendell Allen and Karen Jensen-Hendrian. Survivors include his Mother, Karen Jensen-Hendrian (Donald) of Palmyra, his companion Shelbie Meyers of Palmyra, his children Lane, Luke, and Raylen: grandparents Dean and Shirley Jensen of Palmyra, MO; 1 sister Hannah (Mark) Kroeger of Palmyra, MO; niece Addy Kroeger and nephews Jensen and Toby Kroeger; special uncle Chris Allen. Nathan was preceded in death by his Dad and grandparents Weldon & Dennie Allen. Nathan worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was an excellent Dozer operator and loved to move dirt around. Some of his pastimes included rock and arrowhead hunting, grilling with family and friends, fishing in the country and just being in nature were all things he enjoyed. He loved to play with his beloved dog, Jethro. Nathan enjoyed woodworking and using his hands to create something beautiful. Nathan was a part of Heartland Ministries for many years, working on the dirt crew creating lakes and runways. He was Christian by Faith. Memorial contributions may be made payable to Karen Hendrian for Nathan's children's education fund.
