Sarah Martha Sanford Griffin, 83 of Inman, died Friday morning, February 26, 2021, at the home of her daughter. She was born on February 10, 1938 in Spartanburg, a daughter to the late William Fairdie Sanford and Bessie Lee Pruitt Sanford. Sarah was married to Robert Leon Griffin on October 23, 1954 until he passed away on November 28, 1995. Sarah loved her family and her God! She was a member of Fingerville First Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Kim Robinson (Allen) of Inman; a son-in-law, Jimmy Rowe of Inman; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Robinson, Abby Robinson, Jamie Rowe (Miranda) and Shannon Simpson (Kevin); 3 great-grandchildren, Nikki, Cody and Ethan; and 1 great-great-grandson, Kellen. She was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Rowe; and siblings, Herman Sanford, Hazel Tipton, Leroy Sanford, Isom Sanford, Elsie Wyatt, Faye Gwinn, Jennings Sanford and Earl Sanford. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2021, at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
