Anstey Henry Minors

Mr. Anstey Minors was born October 9, 1936, born in Belmont Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies. He was the second eldest of twelve children to the late Geroge D. Minors and Pearl Kennedy. He entered his eternal rest on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 10:55 am. Anstey joined the US Merchant Marine at the tender age of 19 and retired July 31, 1995, where he served as a Union Representative for Seafarers International Union of North America. He publicly confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and received his membership from New Ebenezer Baptist Church of Florence on December 28, 1997, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Norman Gamble. Anstey was not a stranger to anyone. He spent his retired years selling goods at the Florence Flea Market. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; his siblings, Monica, Lola, Frederick, Marlene, Marcel, and Shirley. Left to cherish his precious memories include his siblings; Hamin Ibn Abdallah (Godwin Minox) of London, David Minors of Trinidad, WI, Aurbon Minors of Walterboro, SC, Gladys Clarke of Trinidad, WI, Marina Thomas of New York, and Norva Clarke-Bailey of Trinidad, WI, devoted niece; Charlene (Johnnie) Coaxum and devoted cousin; Gretha Williamson who stood by his side providing all his needs, a son, several nieces, nephews and a host of good friends that they knew his as the “President”, somewhat like Jesus and the Boss. He had lived a long life filled with Love, Joy, and Prosperity and at the end of every rainbow, life begins. He is now onto a new journey in his heavenly home. We love you, Uncle Henry!
