PRESTON DANIEL O’WATCH (Blue Lightening Man) It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Preston Daniel O’Watch. Preston was predeceased by Kukom Lena O’Watch; uncle Bernard Tapaquon; niece Erica Hill-O’Watch; cousin Jheremie Tapaquon; as well as numerous beloved family members. Preston leaves to mourn, his mother Thelma (Robert) O’Watch; father Earl Stevenson; girlfriend Amanda Shepard; children, Aaliyah, Olivia, Passion, Peyton, Preston James (PJ); two grandkids; brothers, Quentin (Sara), Delanie O’Watch; and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Ever since he was brought into the Pow-Wow circle by his Kukom Lena, Preston took an interest in grass dancing and began competing as a Grass Dancer from the early age of 8 years old. A graduate of Scott Collegiate, Preston built a prestigious work history, with his most recent job being held at the John Howard Society, where he took pride in helping the less fortunate to feel safe and welcomed. Preston was a regular member of Lonsdale Boxing Club where his passion for boxing was evident and inspiring to others. While involved with boxing, Preston volunteered at Battle of the Prairies every chance he could. Above all, Preston thought the world of his children. He loved them more than life itself. They were his pride and joy. A Private family Wake and Funeral Service will be held.
