Obituary

Harald (Harry) Ernst Hardin, our beloved Papa, left this world peacefully on April 9, 2021, after a long journey with many health issues, to spend the rest of eternity with Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Martha, father Ray, son Kyle, mother Charlotte, and grandson Nathaniel.

Harry was born in Germany in 1952 and moved to the United States as a small boy.  He grew up in Columbus, Georgia and graduated from Hardaway High School.  Upon graduation he proudly enlisted in the USAF where he served for 20 years.  After retiring he traveled around the world as an Aviation Consultant.  He loved his work and met many life-long friends who were always cherished.  Harry’s great passions were photography, art, music, and fishing. But most of all he loved to travel the back roads of America on his Harley, stopping in out-of-the-way places to enjoy an aged scotch with a good cigar.

Harry is survived by his wife Tammy, sister Angie (Kevin), sons Cory (Summer) and Stephen (Jordan), daughters Kristina (Chris), Lisa (Jonathan), and Cassie, grandchildren Jesse (Danielle), Justin, Savannah, Jackson, Noah, Addison, Tucker, Luci, Champ, Jacob, Christopher, Cory Jr., and Aubrey, as well as his in-laws Louis and Leilani, Louis Jr., Frank (Sarah), Darren (Dianna), Odell, Forest and Wendell and many nieces and nephews.  Harry is also survived by his faithful furry companion of 11 years, Chester.

We will miss you our precious Papa, but will see you again one day.  Until then you are forever in our hearts.
