John R. Whyte Sr. Denver, Colorado Obituary

John R. Whyte Sr.

A Life of Blessing, Love and Legacy… John (Jack) R. Whyte Sr. Born, February 25th, 1930. Passed from this life on April 11th, 2021 at 2:30 am. The previous day, much of the family was blessed to spend their 67th wedding anniversary with them. Cake and Ice-Cream Included! It was a truly blessed day. Jack enjoyed a 35-year career in the minerals business with Anaconda/Arco. He 'retired' in his mid- 50’s, but not for long. He had a great mind and loved what he did, the EPA showed great wisdom when they hired him to be part of their “Super Fund” projects. He spent many years with the EPA until he re-retired at the age of 80! – He may not have if they hadn’t changed the bus routes! Jack loved and had a passion for live performing and great music, especially exceptional vocalists. He was a song and dance man early in his life and truly appreciated the talent of others. His loving wife, Eileen, (His Daughter, Celeste, passed in 1993) his four sons, John (Jr), Ron, Dennis, Geoff, his 9 grandchildren, Aaron, Whitney, Spencer, Jessica, Evan, Tara, Dalen, Autumn, Gina, and 3 great-grandchildren, Payton, Jaxyn and Ella, will remember him oh so fondly and miss him dearly.
