Curtis Rogers Miller Obituary

Curtis “Pap” Rogers Miller, a jack of all trades, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 9, 2021. He was 89. Curtis was born to Curtis and Mildred Miller on November 3, 1931 in Clairton, Pennsylvania. Curtis was very young when he met the love of his life, Ruth. They spent the next 50 years creating memories together. He was a hard worker. Curtis held many job titles and positions but spent most of his years at Packer Plastic. When he wasn’t working Ruth and Curtis loved to travel. He especially liked to visit historical forts throughout the country. He had a love for photography and would capture the beauty of the world thru his lens. Curtis was a collector of many things but enjoyed coins, books and crossword puzzles most. He had a green thumb and was well known for his signature dishes, meatloaf and cabbage rolls. Curtis had a life well lived and will be missed dearly by his friends and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth; siblings, Clarence, Della, Charles (Charlie), Cecil, Harold, Thomas (Tommy) and beloved furry companion, Rusty. He is survived by his daughter, Janet Lazenby; Mike Bishop, Mark Bishop (Kathy), Michelle Hughes (Jack), Melissa Morefield, Curtis Lazenby (Addie); 13 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; niece, Davida Henderson (David) and many other nieces and nephews. Cremation is planned with a celebration of life at a later date.
