John S. Slane, 77, passed away on April 9th, 2021. Preceded in death by his father Rollen S, mother Rosella Ann Garrabrant, brother Bill, sister Joan Skinner and son John R. Survived by brothers Jim and Jerry, sister Joyce Purcell, wife Linda of 57 years, sons David and Jeff (Malinda), grandchildren Adam, Brittney (John Doolittle), Ayrelle, Rebekah and Cheyenne. Great grandchildren Daniel, Grayson, John William, Gabriel and Isaiah. A Christian of 38 years at Alkire Rd Church of Christ. He enjoyed fixing and racing cars in his early years. He also loved working with brick and stone, woodworking, fishing, and playing cards with his family and friends (he won most of the time). He was always willing to help others and give advice and taught many people how to fix almost anything.

A memorial service will be held by the family on Saturday April 17 at 11:00 am at Alkire Rd Church of Christ.
