Eleanor M. Rosa Devoted mother and wife. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Eleanor Marie Rosa who passed away peacefully on April 9, 2021 at the age of 92. Eleanor was a resident of Waterbury, CT most of her life. She was living in Massachusetts the last 5 years. She was born in Waterbury, CT to the late Homer and Irene Snyder of Oakville, CT. Eleanor spent her entire life dedicated to her family. She loved vacationing in Cape Cod, shopping, especially in New York, and visiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in Massachusetts. She and her late husband loved dancing and going out with friends over the years. She has left us so many memories, her kindness, her generosity, her devotion and love. She was always dedicated to helping her family in a moment’s notice. Eleanor is survived by her two daughters, Karen Young of Plymouth, MA and Donna Williams and her husband Gary of Middlebury, CT. She leaves three grandchildren, Tracy Johnston and her husband Bill, Rebecca Fish and her husband Brian, and Jeffrey Williams and his wife, Tara. She also leaves four great grandchildren, Abbey and Billy Johnston, Austin Fish and Russell Williams. In addition, she leaves many nieces, nephews, friends and family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony (Tony) Rosa and her beloved son, Billy Rosa. Also, her sister Virginia Denker of New Jersey and brother, John Snyder of Oakville, CT. A very special thank you to the staff at Nemasket Healthcare of Middleborough, MA who provided exceptional care for Eleanor during her last years.
