Matthew J. Gilliss, D.O. age 44 of Haddon Heights, NJ a primary care physician and partner in an Advocare practice in Mt. Laurel, Williamstown and Vineland died tragically in a motor vehicle accident in Cherry Hill, NJ during a storm Sunday evening, April 11, 2021. Matt leaves his beloved wife of 14 years, Dr. Heather Crawford and their three treasured children, Gavin, Gabriel and Bella. He was the youngest child of his late parents, Dr. Alfred G. “Doc” and Barbara (nee Roller) Gilliss, Jr. He also leaves: his brothers, Dr. Adam (Peggy) and Dave (Cathi) and a sister Amy 1 Gilliss McCausland; his in-laws, Joe and Jeanne Crawford; sister in-law and brother in-law, Dawn and Kristian Bligh and their son, Dean. Also survived by one niece and several nephews; a great-niece and great-nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Saturday 9:30-11:30a.m. at EVOY-BANASZ FUNERAL HOME, 129 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ. A Memorial mass will follow 12:00p.m. at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Fourth Ave. and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ.
