Chester R. 'Dick' Wiram, age 69 of Blountsville, passed away on May 16, 2014. He grew up in Terra Haute, Indiana and graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1962. He retired from J.C. Penney where he was a store manager. He was a faithful member of Locust Fork Baptist Church. Mr. Wiram is survived by: his wife, Paula Damico Wiram; daughters, Lori Young of Trussville; Leslie (Gary) Eaton of Buford, GA; son, Matt (Amy) Wiram of Trussville; stepsons, Chris and Lou Cooley of Birmingham; and grandchildren, Hunter; Krista; and Cassady Gwin; Michael and James Young; Amber-Lynn; Natalie; and Asher Wiram; mother, Geraldine Wiram of Terra Haute, Indiana; brother Gary(Ruth) Wiram of Washington; sister Nancy (Bob) Franzwa of Illinois; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Chester Alonzo Wiram. Funeral services were held at Blountsville Funeral Home on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:00pm, with a graveside services to follow at Blountsville Cemetery.
