Rex Adkisson, age 69, of East Prairie, MO passed away, on Sunday, April 4th, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 15, 1951 in Cairo, IL, son of Paul Vernon Adkisson and Ruth (Estes) Adkisson. He and Deborah Sue Blackwell were united in marriage on July 18, 1970 and she survives him of the home. Rex was a member of First Christian Church of East Prairie. Survivors include his wife Debbie; son Shane Adkisson of O’Fallon, MO; daughter Dawn Sutton of East Prairie, MO; sister Paula Mann of Maumelle, AR; and four grandchildren Riley Adiksson, Shelby Adkisson, Libby(Sutton), Paton and Saylor Sutton. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ruth. In lieu of flowers, please kindly send memorial donations to First Christian Church of East Prairie. Arrangements were under the care of Liley Cremation Services in Cape Girardeau.
