EllaRae C. Tucker

<p>EllaRae C. Tucker was born in 1938 to Raymond and Hazel Hunzicker Cobb. Her earthly journey was spent spreading God&rsquo;s love and comfort to everyone she met. Her greatest joy was being mother to Cynthia, Robert and Gail, grandmother to Joe (Kelli), Kevin (Carol) and Michelle (Michael), and great-grandmother to Benjamin and Serena. She worked for years preparing income tax returns before finishing her career in accounting for the Corp of Engineers. She married Carl Tucker in 1992. Together, they were members of Stony Point Christian Church in Kansas City, KS, San Juan Baptist Church in Donna, TX, and Apollo Baptist Church in Glendale, AZ. They loved to square dance, play 31 Cards, and listen to music. They traveled the United States by car and settled in Bit-O-Heaven, a retirement community in Donna, TX. She took great joy in taking care of her mother as she aged and of Carl prior to his death in 2020. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Earl, and daughter Cindy.</p> <p>A memorial service will be held at Thunderbird Senior Living facility on Sunday, April 11 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley.
