It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Sandra (Sandy) Frye on April 7, 2021.  She fought the hard fight with cancer for 11 years.  She is now in heaven with her loved ones and her dogs that she dearly loved.

Sandy was born December 27, 1950 in Spokane, Washington to Donald and Stella Simon.  She graduated from University High School in 1968 and married Jim Alfred Frye November 8, 1969.   

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Stella Simon, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  She leaves behind her husband Jim; two wonderful daughters, Nicki and Tracy; five beautiful grandchildren; two precious cocker spaniels, Missy and Lexi; one sister, Donita Kruse; and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks go to her sisters-in-law Arlene Brown, Carol Steffen, Cheryl Frye; Brothers-in-law Bill Frye, Fred Steffen and Don Frye; Friends Nick and Paulette Abariotes, Charlene and Larry Boeger, Steward and Kathy Smith, George and Mary Lynn Swannack, Fred and Dotti Gurney, Casey and Teresa Layton, Greg and Elecia Seaman.  The family would also like to thank the staff at Cancer Care Northwest, Dr. Rinn, Amy, Rachule and Jill for the love and support they showed Sandy.  Sandy loved you all very much and you showed her how much she was loved. 

Sandy is now in a better place where she has no more pain and suffering.  Until we meet again, you will be missed but never forgotten.  At her request there will be no funeral services.  Instead of flowers, please make a donation to Scraps of Spokane.
