Kathleen "Kat"  Settles, 98, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, formerly of Aurora, Indiana passed away Friday April 9, 2021 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

She was born March 15, 1923 in Helenwood, Tennessee, daughter of the late Leonard Keeton Sr. and Hettie (Marcum) Keeton. 

She was a member of First Church of God, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Kat was a very devout Christian woman who lived her life accordingly.  She was an excellent seamstress and she enjoyed working puzzles.

Kat is survived by her sons, Michael E Settles of Aurora, IN, and William H Settles of Ft. Myers, FL; daughter, Janice Burd of Indianapolis, IN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Settles; daughters, Mary Billingsley, and Helen Rose; brothers, Kenneth Keeton and Leonard Keeton Jr.

Friends will be received Monday, April 12, 2021, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home,  Aurora, Indiana.  
Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Donald Pierce officiating.

Graveside services will be held at the Reed Cemetery in New River, Tennessee on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 12:00 pm. 

Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery, New River, Tennessee.
