Eva Mae Brooks Woodham, 84, of Coffeeville, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Coffeeville on November 8, 1936 to James "Jim" Brooks and Bertha Aline Bedwell Brooks. A registered nurse, she worked at several area hospitals including Grove Hill Memorial Hospital and Jackson Medical Center. She attended The First Baptist Church of Coffeeville and enjoyed flower gardening, reading, cooking and crossword puzzles.<br>She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Woodham; daughter, Teresa Cox and siblings, Walter Grey Brooks, Peter Brooks and Roy Brooks.<br>She is survived by her grandchildren, Maria (Rodney) Lewis, Michael Henson, Eva Roberts-Wilkerson; great-grandchild, Brianna (Wayne) Moore; five great, great-grandchildren; niece, Rochelle (Mack) May; nephews, James Brooks, Charles (Diane) Brooks, Jerry Bradley, Bobby (Linda) Brooks; caregiver, Dewanna Jo Reed and numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.<br>A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at New Prospect Baptist Cemetery in Coffeeville with the Revs. Brent Fuller and Russell Wright officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.<br>The family wishes to thank SouthernCare Hospice for the quality care that she received during her extended illness.<br>Condolences may be offered at www.lathanfuneralhome.com.<br>
