Mrs. Mary Ellen Morgan Gorman, age 82, a resident of Foreman, Arkansas, died Friday, April 9, 2021 in Little River Nursing and Rehab in Ashdown. She was born January 13, 1939 in Saltillo, Texas. Mary was a homemaker and worked with her husband in logging. She enjoyed raking her yard, her dogs and baking tea cakes. She was a member of the King Ryder Church of Christ. Mrs. Gorman was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Alberta Galloway Morgan; her husband of 41 years Charlie Everett “Ebb” Gorman; one brother, Billy Joe Morgan; three sisters, Betty Kennedy, Effie Rogers and Judy Davis. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Edward Gorman and Jacki of Foreman, Arkansas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Lavonne Ward of Winthrop and Nora Alberta and Guy Blair of Witts Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Jan Davis of Foreman; one brother, Curtis Morgan, of Pittsburg, Texas; six grandchildren, Marla D. Ward, Wyatt L. Ward, Ashley D. Ward Bell, Sara Stewart, Mahala Gorman and Charlie Gorman; seven great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Gorman will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Campground Cemetery Pavilion with James McRae officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
