<p>Karen F. Nelson (Horman), 73, of Pawtucket passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Providence. She was a loving and devoted wife to George Nelson Jr. for 46 years. Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Lois (Patterson) Horman. </p> <p> </p> <p>Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her beloved family, in-laws, nieces, nephews and her extended family.</p> <p> </p> <p>She retired from National Marker Company in 2013 where she held many positions. She enjoyed the beach, visiting friends and family, vacationing and gardening.</p> <p> </p> <p>Karen’s funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen’s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Rhode Island, 2346 Post Road, Suite #202, Warwick, RI 02886. </p> <p> </p>Obituary
