In the loving memory of my beloved father, Vi Thanh Nguyen has passed away on April 07, 2021 due to a long battle of liver cancer and congestive heart failure. He passed away peacefully at home but he managed his life with strength, grace, and love. My father has touched many hearts throughout his life and on his final days, he was surrounded by friends and family that gave him comfort and love.

He loved music and art. He was passionate about the idea of expressing who you are as an individual. Music brought comfort in his life, from orchestra to rock and roll. 

Although my father became physically weak, his mind and soul was courageous and strong.  He reminded us the most important thing in life and that is life itself. He never mentioned much of his pain. Instead, he would smile and say, “I am okay.”

Vi Thanh Nguyen is survived by families from Vietnam to here in the states. Gone from our sight but will be forever in our hearts.
