<p>Herrera, Judy&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> On Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, Judith &ldquo;Judy&rdquo; Herrera was called to be with the Lord in Heaven. Judy was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico and was born to Manuel and Emma Padilla on September 6, 1948.&nbsp; Judy was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Judy started her career as a hairdresser working in her mom&rsquo;s beauty salon on fourth street for over 20 years and later went on to work for Albuquerque Public Schools as a cafeteria manager for 19 years where she retired. She was an active member of the Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister to the home bound, was devoted to her weekly time with the Blessed Sacrament and volunteered for church fiestas.&nbsp;<br /> She is survived by her spouse of 45 years, Miguel Duran; son, Chris Herrera and Darlene; daughters, Ramona Montoya and Davy, Angela Millan and Alex, and Norma Wright and Brandon; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Isabelle and Alyssa, and one brother, Cecil Padilla.&nbsp;<br /> She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernardo Herrera; son, Dominic Herrera and parents Manuel and Emma Padilla.&nbsp;<br /> Judy loved her family unconditionally and was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Judy loved life, was a strong beautiful person and always had an open heart for everyone. She will be missed by many.&nbsp;<br /> Services for Judy will be held on April 12, 2021 with a Rosary recited at 8:30 am at Garcia Mortuary~Chapel of Angels, 624 8th Street SW followed by a procession to Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with Mass at 10:00 am and to her final resting place at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
