Mrs. Wanda Darlene Hathcock, 69, of Granite Falls, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Caldwell Hospice of Lenoir, following a period of declining health. Wanda was born on July 4, 1951 in Catawba County to the late Fred Hargus and Tilda Worley. She was previously employed in the furniture manufacturing industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hathcock, and one son, Eric Vance Moore, two brothers; Richard Dale Starnes, and Dempsey Vance Brinkley, and one sister, Hazel Ann Hilton. Survivors include her three children; Rhonda Huffman and husband Barry, Angela Moore, and Roger Moore, two stepchildren, Katelyn Trueblood, and Stephanie Adkins, one sister, Mickey Smith, and one sister in-law, Patty Starnes. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. A visitation for friends and family for Wanda will be held on Saturday, from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
