Billy Joe Jacques Sr passed away Saturday April 3rd, 2021 at Duke Medical Hospital. BJ was born in Montgomery Alabama to Jack Jacques and Grace Peter’s Stamps on 10/02/1951. Bj went to school at Roxboro Highschool in the town of Roxboro. Spouse of thirty years was Teresa Gull Warren. Bj was a long time employee of Irvin Industries in NC. He was a big influence on many musicians his whole life, self taught at fifteen years old and played music up until the time he passed. He was the opening act for big names like Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. He was one of the best bass players around! Long time Moose Lodge Member and did many things to help many people in the community.

Bj was preceded in death by his Father Jack Jacques, Mother Grace Stamps, Stepfather Jessie Stamps, sister Anne Lamontane, and son Billy Joe Jacques Jr.

Bj is survived by spouse Teresa Warren, ( her daughter Toni Chandler and her children), brother Cliff Stamps and wife Dana along with son JD, sister Sharon Tatum and husband Scott and their son Scottie Tatum and family, daughter Shana Tatum Tanksly and husband Drew and their one child, brother Lee Stamps and wife Rhanda and children, son Jeremy Jacques and his Fiancé Lisa Daniels his son Aulston Jacques and wife Brooke along with their daughter Ava Grace, Aaron Jacques, Ashlin Jacques, Luis Daniels, Jairo Sanchez and Heidi Daniels, son Cody Jacques and wife Sam and children Mathew, Hannah, Zachary, Joey, son Andy Oakley and his children Jayden, Hunter, Marlee, and son Jax.

There will be a celebration of life to come soon, a big party that would make my dad happy!
