ROBERT WAYNE PAYNE, JR. SLOCOMB.…Robert Wayne Payne, Jr., a resident of Slocomb, Alabama, passed away Wednesday morning, April 7, 2021, at Crown Health Care of Eufaula. He was 68. No services are planned at this time. Mr. Payne was born in Hartford, Alabama at Tippins Hospital, to the late Robert Wayne Payne, Sr. and Hazel Sutton Payne. He lived his entire life in the Hartford and Slocomb, Alabama area. He was a painter and carpenter by trade, in residential construction. Leaving to cherish his memories are two loyal friends, Benny Singletary and Willie Williford, both of Slocomb, Alabama.
