Mark Steven Middleton Independence, Missouri Obituary

Mark Steven Middleton

Mark Steven Middleton, 62, of Independence, MO passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mark was born on August 28, 1958 to Robert and Barbara (Vogel) Middleton in Annapolis, MA, the youngest of three children where the family described him as the pesky younger brother. The family eventually moved to Independence where Mark graduated from Truman High School. After graduation, he worked and attended vocational classes before finding his passion in auto body repair and welding. Before becoming too ill to work, Mark worked as a part-time welding instructor at Metropolitan Community College. Teaching brought him much joy, passing on his passion and knowledge of welding to future generations. Throughout his life, Mark had the ability to take hobbies and turn them into a business. He had owned Green Dragon Paintball for many years which he had started soon after his son Casey wanted to play. Mark was strong, hardworking, and lead a simple life. He was a great guy, who loved his work, and could fix anything. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and with his dogs and best buddies, Zoey, Dozer, and Heartly. He was many things to many people but most importantly he was Dad, “Pops”, “Poppa G”, and friend. His advice and wisdom of life will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mark married Faye (Sani) and together had two children, Nicole and Casey. He is survived by his children: Nicole Tuggle and husband Matthew and Casey Middleton and wife Bailey; daughter, Jeseka McDaniel; brother, Michael Middleton; nephews: Douglas and Daniel Middleton and Michael William, Jr.; grandchildren: Makayla and Eliza Middleton and Isaiah Tuggle; and former spouse, Faye Middleton. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Cheryl. Online condolences may be expressed at www.speakschapel.com (Arrangements: Carson-Speaks Chapel 816-252-7900)
