Connor Michael Childs, 19, passed away April 5, 2021 at Merit Health River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. April 10, 2021 from 10am-11:45am at Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 12pm on Sat. April 10, 2021 at Meadow Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.

Connor was born on June 7, 2001 in Flowood, MS. He was currently a resident of Brandon, MS where he was a faithful member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church. Connor was a 2019 graduate of Brandon High School and attended Holmes Community College in Ridgeland, MS. He was currently employed at Moss Creek Restaurant in Pearl, MS. Connor enjoyed being outdoors fishing, kayaking, playing baseball, running cross country and 5 K's. He loved his hair and would often call it his “Lucious Locks”. Connor loved life and had a contagious smile. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Connor is survived by his parents, Stephen and Sherri Childs; two brothers, Andrew Watson Childs and Matthew Thomas Childs; grandparents, Martha and Dewayne McCullough, Abia and Vicki Hanna and Carole and Mitchell Faust; three uncles, Rick Hanna (Stacy), Scott Childs (Victoria), Robert Childs (Kricey) and 10 cousins, Kayla Childs, Sierra Childs, Emma Childs, Kaytlyn Deason, Brian Hanna (Grace), Claire Hanna, Tyler Childs, Brandon Childs, Lily Childs and William Childs. Connor is preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Childs.
