Cumberland, MD – John Harman Golightly, 80, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland.  Born January 17, 1941, in Davis, WV, Mr. Golightly was the son of the late Reginald and stepmother, Marie Golightly, and Eva (Harman) Corrick and stepfather, James Leo Corrick.  He was also preceded in death by his half-sister: Claire Ann Weiss.  John received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from University of Maryland, College Park.  He was a United States Naval Veteran, and retired from Kelly-Springfield as senior accountant.  John was an active member of New Covenant United Methodist Church and Grace United Methodist Church, where he served as Treasurer for many years.  He previously coached little league baseball and was a Cub Scout leader.  John was the owner/operator of J.G. Sports, and was an avid fisherman.   John is survived by his wife of 57 years: Mary Alice (Graham) Golightly, married on August 31, 1963; his sons: Doug Golightly and wife, Dawn; Thomas Golightly and wife, Mary Ann; and Dave Golightly and wife, Anne.  He is also survived by his grandchildren: Allyson Golightly; Mackenzie Kayda; Marshall Kayda; Hayden DeVore; Emily Dennis; and Jake Golightly; his sister: Myra Ott; stepbrother: Jack Corrick; and his half-brothers: Reginald and William Golightly; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, April 9, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Donna Renn officiating.  Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.  Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dapper Dan Little League, P.O.
