John Daniel Neace

John Daniel Neace, 78, passed away on April 4, 2021, in Helena, MT. He was a kind, loving, and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who encouraged people to see the good in everything. He enjoyed woodworking, archery, and hunting. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-children more than anything and prayed for them all every day. He knew the Word and had a wonderful walk with Jesus. He was born in Logan, West Virginia to Thelma Bartrum Neace and Luther Neace on December 25, 1942. After high school, he moved to Chicago and began working at Ryerson Steel and then Wisconsin Steel. He married Rosa Lee McNeely Neace on July 8, 1964, in Ranger, West Virginia. He then started to work for 3M in 1965. He was drafted and served as an MP in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina from 1966-1968. He then went back to work at 3M where he remained until retirement in 2002. In 2002 he moved to Helena, MT where he stayed until 2004. From 2004 until 2018 he lived in West Virginia and then from 2018 to 2021 he lived in Helena, MT. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021, at 4 P.M. at Apostolic Life Center in Helena, MT. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Rose and Gerry Spadafino; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Natalie Neace; son, Joe Neace; grandson, Chandler Destefano; granddaughter-in-law Chelsea Destefano; grandson, Brent Neace; granddaughter-in-law Rehanna Neace; granddaughter, Atalyssa Neace; grandson, Zachary Neace; granddaughter, Hannah Neace; great-granddaughter, Makenna Destefano; and great-granddaughter, Madilyn Destefano. He was preceded in death by his beloved Rosie, wife of 54 years; parents Thelma Bartrum Neace and Luther Neace; and brothers Frank Neace and James Neace.
