Linda Asher, age 72 of Baltimore, went to be with the Lord on April 4th, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center.   She was born to the late Thomas and Vivian Robbins Hughes on April 15, 1948 in Virginia. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending as much time with her family as possible.  She never met a stranger and her friends, family, and especially the grandchildren were the greatest joys in her life.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Joe Asher; children, James (Alina) Asher, Tracy Asher, Randy (Tracie) Asher, Robert Asher; grand kids Perry, Keannette, Kiyomi, Yamil, Morgan, Macyn, Alexis, Dillan, and Shianne; great grandkids, Gavin, Layla, Kean Sol, Maggie, Liam, Brielle, and Lance.; siblings, Charlie (Mary) Hughes, Ira Hughes, and William (Teressa) Hughes; bro-in-law, Johnny Asher; sister-in-law, Doris (Jim) Summers; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Ruth Reeves and Vera Severs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dina Hughes; and brothers-in-law, James Jr. and Benjamin Asher.  A funeral service will take place on Friday at 10:30AM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5PM-8PM.  Donations can be made in Linda's name to the Rosehill Church of Christ, 9150 E.
