Elda P. Martin

Elda P. Martin, 88, of Quarry St., East Providence, passed away at home with her daughter at her side, Sunday night, April 4, 2021. Born in Taunton, MA, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Mimoza) Martin. She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Joseph J. Sousa of East Providence; her beloved grandsons, Joseph John Sousa II (wife Jennifer) and Jarrett Joseph Sousa; and her three adored great grandchildren, Isabel Rose Sousa, Penelope Rose Sousa and Joseph John Sousa III. She was also the sister of Aldena P. Lopes of Houston, TX, and of the late Edward P. Martin, John P. Martin, Celestina P. Lincoln, and Judith P. Reese. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 10, at 9am in St. Martha’s Church, 2595 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Taunton. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
