Ratko Rankovic, 92 of Prospect Park, N.J. passed away on Sunday, April 4th, 2021. The funeral procession will be departing at 9:30 a.m. on April 8th, 2021 from Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church, Paterson, N.J., with interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, N.J. Born in Siljakovac, Serbia to Zivan and Leposava (nee: Jankovic) Randovic, he emigrated to the U.S. residing in Paterson before moving to Prospect Park. Ratko was a factory worker most of his life. He was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church in Paterson, N.J. Preceded in death by his parents and devoted wife, Miroslava Rankovic, he is survived by his beloved son, Dragisa “Danny” Rankovich; caring brothers, Radisav and Dobrivoje Rankovic; and cherished grandchildren, Alexander Zivan and Jasmine Rose Rankovich.
