Muriel L. Curran

Muriel L. (Forgeron) Curran of Onset, formerly of Braintree passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay after a brief illness at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of the late Bradford Curran. <br><br>Born in W. Arichat, Nova Scotia on July 1, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Artimese Forgeron. She came to the U.S. at the age of 17. Muriel worked for Abrasive Products in Braintree for over 30 years. <br><br>She was the devoted mother of Geraldine (Ormston) Jackson and her husband Robert who she lived with. She was the loving grandmother of Darlene and Kevin Griffin of Weymouth and Robert M. and Caryn Jackson of Braintree. She is also survived by her adored great grandchildren, Courtney, Kelly and Kevin Griffin. Also surviving is her brother Adolphe "Ken" Forgeron and his wife Rosie of Halifax, NS and her step-great granddaughter, Sarah and her son Brendan. Muriel leaves behind a wonderful loving family with many nieces and nephews. She had a special bond with her niece and godchild Marcia Cronin of Chelmsford. <br><br>Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Mon., July 6, 2015 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Marys Church, Onset Ave., Onset at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. <br><br>Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
