Russell H. Dunham, III, a long time resident of New Fairfield, Connecticut, was born on May 14, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from New York Military Academy and Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio with a degree in Psychology. He served in WWII as an Infantry Drill Sergeant. Beloved husband of Beverly Skahen Dunham of Raynham, Ma., he was the proud father of four daughters, Pamela Gales of Vero Beach, Fl., Susan Dunham of Hartford, Vt., Cassandra Dunham-Freeman of Raynham, Ma., and Sara Keylor of Bridgewater, Ma. and four grandchildren, Benjamin Keylor, of Marlborough, Ma., Thomas Neuman of Washington, D.C, Mitchell Keylor of Ann Arbor, Mi., and Taylor Freeman of Santa Barbara, Ca., Sons-in-law Frederick Keylor, Dr .Barry Freeman, sisters-in-law Caroline Skahen, Sylvia Stivers, Nancy Skahen and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Lewis L. Dunham and Brothers-in-law Charles Skahen and Don Henry Skahen.

In 1958, Mr. Dunham founded the Dunham Tool Company in New Fairfield, Ct. the first industrial building in town for 100 years. Through the years, he was awarded many patents for his inventions. In 1963, he built the Candlewood Theatre, in New Fairfield. A member of the National Machine Tool Association, he was also active in the American Precision Museum in Windsor,Vermont. He was an avid collector of antique Packard Automobiles. He retired in 1988 and in 2003 moved to Massachusetts, where he lived until his death.

At the time of his death, he was married for 62 years and missed his 90th birthday by one week. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was a good man.
