KANE Marsha Swedenhjelm, 73, of 305 School St. in Kane, passed away on Friday (April 2) in Warren. She was born on May 16, 1947 in Kane, the daughter of the late Archie and Lois (Bryington) Glans. Marsha married Darrell Swedenhjelm on Dec. 31, 1968. He preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Kane High School Class of 1965 and had been employed at Stackpole Corp. in Kane as well as Affiliated Industries. Surviving relatives include one sister Kimberley (Wade) Cochran of Ludlow, one brother Archie (Sylvia) Glans of Cochranton, one niece Ashley (Michael) Cochran-Walters of Warren and one great niece Cecily Walters of Warren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son Mark A. Swedenhjelm. Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home on Wednesday (April 7) from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at which time a service conducted by the Rev. Calvin Cook will take place.
