<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Marvin Hennecke, 88, of Shelburn passed away on Saturday April 3, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.&nbsp; He was born in Beloit, WI on July 12, 1932 to Melvin Hennecke and Alice (Stearns) Hennecke.&nbsp; He was a 1950 graduate of Hymera High School, had retired from Peabody Coal Company, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.&nbsp; Marvin was a member of the Eastern Stars,&nbsp; Past Worthy Patron, Shelburn Masonic Lodge 369, Past Master, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, Past Most Wise Master, Rose Croix, Illustrious 33 degree, Shelburn American Legion post 197.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley (Rowe) Hennecke, brothers Keith and Ralph Hennecke.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Survivors include his Daughter Kathy (Mark) Lyday, sons Ralph (Becky) Hennecke, Randy (Christina) Hennecke, 11 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with pastor Norman Santus officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Masonic services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Military services will be given by the Sullivan County Honor Guard.&nbsp; Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>
