<p>Dawn Patricia Ross, 66, of Oakland died on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on November 24, 1954, in Audubon, IA, she was the daughter of the late Richard &quot;Dick&quot; and Phyllis &quot;Pat&quot; (Booton) Ross.<br /> Dawn received her Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she was valedictorian of the School of Social Work. She had worked for the Garrett County Health Department for 20 years. She was past secretary and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, Proctor Kildown Post #71 and was a member of the Crossroads Church in Oakland for the past 7 years. Dawn enjoyed car shows, motorcycling, playing the trumpet and piano, and sewing doll clothes for donation to needy children through Putting Prayers to Action, Inc. in Big Chifty, KY.<br /> She is survived by her husband, Doug Bittinger; two daughters, Nikki Chirchirillo Hunyady and husband Thomas and Deanna Chirchirillo Fisher and husband Jeffrey; a son, Andrew &quot;Andy&quot; Chirchirillo; and three brothers, Jon Ross, Ron Ross and Tony Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Joanna Fisher.<br /> Friends will be received at the Crossroads Church, 17781 Garrett Hwy, Oakland on Monday, April 5, 2021, from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service will be held in the church at 6 PM with Pastor Dave Marsh officiating. Face masks are required.<br /> Memorial donations may be made to: The ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd, Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209.<br /> The C &amp; S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is honored to be assisting Dawn&#39;s family.</p>
