James Matthew Laird "Cuzn Matt"

Matt enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeler riding, grilling, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Dillion Laird, Josie West Laird, I. D. Hoit, and Irene Speed Hoit; his great aunt, Bonnie; and his great uncle, Bill. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of nine years, Angela Swartz Laird; his daughters, Brooke Jones and Dana Saucer; his grandchildren, Emilee Lewis, Enslee Lewis, and Olivia Jones; his parents, James William and Helen Hoit Laird; his sister, Christina Laird Bozeman; his nieces, Shanna Bozeman Bethea and Kasie Bozeman; his great niece, McKenna Bethea; his aunts; uncles; four cousins; and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Life Service will be held on April 10, 2021 at Lafitte Baptist Church, 3201 Lafitte Rd, Saraland, AL 36571, at 11:00am with Pastor Billy Kendrick officiating. There will be a gathering in the Fellowship Hall after the service.
