Ernest Parizo, Jr.

Ernest (Ernie) Parizo Jr., 84, of Colchester, Vermont passed away on March 30, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on September 19th, 1936 in Winooski Vermont to Ernest Sr. and Hazel Parizo. Ernest graduated from Winooski High School in 1955 and enlisted in the Air Force. After his years of service he remained active in the Vermont Air National Guard. He also worked for the United States Postal Service for more than 30 years. He married Nancy (Goddette) on April 29th, 1961, who survives him. Ernie is also survived by his children and their spouses, Stephen (Mia), Bryan (Michele), Cheryl (Peter) and daughter in- law Susan. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Varick, Sam, Hannah, Zachary, Brandon, Kaylee, Kylyn, Skylyr, Huntyr and Gracyn. Ernie was predeceased by his father Ernest Sr., mother Hazel and sister Barbara. Ernie cherished the time spent with his family and enjoyed watching his beloved Boston Red Sox play. You could always find Ernie watching his children and grandchildren play sports, performing in plays and concerts with pride and excitement. Ernie was a very social person and was known for striking up a conversation with everyone around him. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
