Gerlach, Julia (nee Delaloye),91, of Creve Couer, MO, passed away on March 29 , 2021. Beloved wife for 62 years of the late William Gerlach; dear mother of the late Terry; dear daughter of the late Edward and Gladys Delaloye, dear sister-in-law of Charlotte and the late Dwight Smith; and dear aunt of Dwight III and Dwain Smith. Julia provided 30,000 hours of volunteer service to the St. Louis Zoo and in recognition of her service the St. Louis Zoo Volunteer of the Year Award is named after her. She also contributed many hours of volunteer service to the Wolf Sanctuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Louis Zoo Association Tribute Fund, P.O. Box 790290, St. Louis, MO 63179-0290.
