Roger "Todd" Dale Waldron

Roger "Todd" Waldron, 67, of Wooster, went to be with the Lord, August 30, 2016 at Wooster Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 761 Wooster, Ohio 44691 to help defer the cost of funeral expenses. Roger was born January 22, 1949 in Wooster, Ohio to Norman and Helen {Taylor} Waldron. Roger served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Vickie (VanMeter) on January 6, 1974. Roger worked for Akron Brass for 30 years. He was a member and former trustee of Rowsburg Church of the Nazarene and a member of the American Legion in Fredricksburg. Roger loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and getting his Starbucks coffee. He was also very passionate about his Chevy Silverado truck and collecting eagle memorabilia. Roger will be deeply missed by his wife Vickie; children Tracy (Jim) Yergin, Roger Dale Jr. both of Wooster; brothers Daniel (Susan) Waldron and Harold Waldron; sisters Norma Wilfong and Nancy (Robert) Howard; twelve nieces and fifteen nephews including Zachary and Gavin who spent most of their time with Roger especially going camping and fishing with him. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, brother Roger "Bud" Nelson Waldron, and sister-in-law Wendy (Harold) Clay Waldron. In keeping with the family's wishes, no services have been planned at this time.
