Jerry Lee Redman Sr.
Jerry Lee Redman Sr., 77, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center. Jerry was born July 31, 1939 in Newark, Ohio to Joy Edson and Helen Louise {Layton} Redman. He married Barbara M. Bakos on September 12, 1992. Jerry retired from Pentair Pump Group (F.E. Myers) after 38 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Jerry will be deeply missed by his wife; children Jerry Redman Jr. of Hickory, NC, Jim (Debbie) Redman of Statesville, NC, Jeff (Tracy) Redman and Denise (Jeremy) Boudinot both of West Salem, Debbie (Jeffrey) Devorak of Brunswick; step-children John (Debbie) Hoffman and Tina (Ray) Barnett both of Ashland, Mike (Teresa) Hoffman of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Bob (Sherry) Redman; sisters Mary Lou (Gary) Holman, Karen (Mike) Ray, Paulette (Bob) Dunlap. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and step-father Robert Swartz. Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
